Day 15: Solidarity and Humility
The country went across one of its disastrous moments in history. In only two hours the capital was under the water. This is not another complaining text on what happened. It is rather a text to show how, we Mauritian, succeeded in dealing with the situation.
Patriotism, a word with great signification that didn't appear since the JIOI 2003. We are one and we are showing it.
Mother Teresa once said - “It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” I believe she was and is still right. We are all helping in the way we can and if each and every one does the same, I am confident that the affected people and regions of Mauritius will go back to a "kind-of" normal situation because we should not forget about the victims of Caudan Subway or should I say " Tunel de la mort". If your right hand is helping make sure that your left hand is not even aware of it. This is called humility.
Anyway, Mauritius is and will always be a united nation.
Proud to be Mauritian
