It was a wednesday, 31st of december,
the day which I still very vividly remember.
on my way home from class,
my cell phone popped a message
which without a moments thought
I knew it was yours.
then on 1st of jan, 2009
You gave me a band which I forever call mine.
soon came the 24th of jan
from when my new life began.
first week from then on
we held hands and moved on
9th feb i got the first kiss on my hand
and inside me,my mind played a rhythmic band.
not 1, not 2, but totalled to 9,
kisses on the 12th of feb were like wine.
oh how can I forget this day
it was the 13th of feb, my birthday.
that cute little smooch from your lip to mine
made that very moment divine
a month later on the 14th of march
was our first trip to mira road.
as kiddy as it was
what we did that time, I realise
it was a timeless memory
we will never again find.
then 7, 27 th july and many such dates went by
out of which twice i took the drastic step,
I hope u remember it well.
I was shattered at the thought that what would happen to me,
for those few days, was only living on ur two little words- "TRUST ME"
days turned into months and months into a year
our love dosent shorten, this thought I fear.
4th,5th and 18th of jan
our new year kicked off with a bang
today is the 24th of jan, the same day a year ago
when my new life began....
wasnt this the cutest way
to remember the dates
that we dont remember to say?!
