The word relationship is heavy. It carries lots of responsibilities, love, care and respect. Relations are many but relationships are few. Similarly, the relationship of mom and son, dad and daughter is unique. They share a bond which is difficult to break, a bond which does not need any glue to make it happen together.
When i saw a cute little 1 year old girl running with such small steps and her dad trying to catch her and match her foot steps, i felt amazed. The smile of dad who knows, she wants to play and she wants him to follow her; the cute smile of the kid who wants to run all over the airport floor . Her cute smile with those 4 teeth make it so innocent that i still have it in back of my mind. She was running because she had full trust that her father will never let her go away. She is clueless about the happening in the world, she has no idea, how will she have to leave her fathers lap once. That time i had mixed feelings. At one time, i was missing my dad and was thinking of those moments i have shared with him. I was trying to recall my childhood days which i hardly could. Either all my memories have vanished or my dad has not given me such beautiful moments. And the other time i was thinking of the pain the girl will go through when she has to leave her father's place after her marriage.
The stories when i hear from my friend that her father takes her to all those beautiful places. He loves to click his daughter's pictures, who love to spent time with her, who never wants her daughter to stay alone in new place; i feel little unfortunate.I try to call my dad and try to convince him we should go often for family trips but have never made it.
But still I want to tell my dad that you are the best. So what you have not taken me to trips, so what you were busy making money for our survival, so what you were not there when i was hospitalized but i am proud to have you as my father. If you would have not spent those sleepless nights in your office i could not have been writing this on my mac laptop, if you would have attended my ptm's i could have missed my medical degree from private college, and if you would have taken us to the trips i could not have recognized the value of our Special relationship
The sweet, cute, little, innocent relation of daughters and dads is special, incomparable, inimitable. They make the best couple. The girl always want her partner to be like her father. They know that there is at least one man in the world who will never hurt her. They will be the girl's first love :)
