CRYING TREES
I think for far away
From a vast sea
This clouds bring a
Message to me.
These farmers here just
pray for rain
I wish the rain god could
Hear but in vain
How I wish the trees there
Wouldn’t have been chopped down
So that the farmers were happy enough
And their face would not have a frown
Everyone polluted the river
Near the hut
The trees were mercilessly
used and cut
Deforestation have made
trees so rare
that people are ready to see
them with a fare
It is yet not late now
So please please please
Do not let the trees in future
Become only a showpiece.
