While watching an episode of a reality show,I saw the hulablaoo created about a girl child artist on the show by other celebrity participants,which made me think really deep about Child Actors in our country....Child Actors...they need no introduction...they have not been introduced today or yesterday,from the time of raj kapoor to the present time of Ranbir Kapoor,kids have been entertaining us in the movies through their cute acts....even the small screen is not untouched by them,be it any child oriented show or as side roles,they have been there,But the debate continues-whether this type of glamour,fame is good for them?The kind of exposure they are provided with at such an early age,be it reality shows,movies,or tv-is it good for them in the long run???
Well,I certainly have no objection towards this...Kids who are extremely talented and are presently doing a wonderful job-what can be wrong with it?No doubt,academics is important but if you're really good at something be it acting only then why not pursue it for life?I need not name stars who are illiterate but depite this fact are loved by all and have been hugely successful..So,if YOU feel like completing studies then its your choice but even if you don't,nothing wrong with it either,its YOUR life afterall and if you have the calibre,you'll make your way out..Parents and activists need to be more liberal towards it.Acting is an art,and you're blessed if your kid possess it at such an early stage,its no child's play to enact emotions,to enact scenes and make it look real....so,my vote for child actors and let them do their work without creating a ruckass about it...
