(The tragic scene in the room scared out the wits of Kay and other people present in the room while Kay believed that it is fake and was dazed how they were all laughing, singing and in a trace all of the scene changed, Pradhanya stood up and saw Neha hooked up to the wall and was astound and fell to the ground as Kay tried to calm her down
“I can’t take this anymore…Neha..why is ..she there? NO!! ..i hate this..” –said Pradhanya.
(Pradhanya fell to her knees)
“Calm down..Prad..nothing is going to happen to us ..shussh..calm down please..do you remember anything? Something about who brought us or anything else at all?” –said Kay.
“I remember that we were at the Karaoke place and then …I still feel outta it” –said Pradhanya.
(The unknown guy stood up and got a hold of Pradhanya’s shoulders)
“You were probably drugged. If you still feel the effects, you should try not to move or get excited for now.” –said the unknown guy.
(Kay grabbed his hand)
“What do you think you are doing to Pradhanya?!” –said Kay.
“Just listen to what I have to say, that’s why you never win Kay” –said the unknown guy.
“Wait …you are ..you are Sanket!” –said Kay.
“Hi, I am Sanket and good to see that its really you Kay..Her pulse has stabilized, she’ll be fine. She was probably given the same drug which was given to me, if she rests a little then I am sure she’ll be fine. Do not get too surprised, I know all this because I am a medical student and… ” –said Sanket.
(The door in the room had a knock. Every door had a meter like structured machine which was actually a scanner, the LED screen showed ‘OPEN’)
“It’s probably the one who killed her..” –said Sanket.
(Kay kept a hand on Pradhanya’s shoulder)
“It’s okay, whoever comes in..i’ll protect you” –said Kay.
(Janhavi entered to the room from that door and like everyone else she didn’t know anything about how she came here. Pradhanya talked to Janhavi, while talking..Pradhanya saw something on Janhavi’s chest (on the outline of her breasts) under her heavy locket, it was an imprinted barcode and the girls doubted Sanket but he excused himself. While Sanket talked very logically hence Janhavi asked about “who is the brain babbling here” and she was quite happy to know that it is Sanket and in the same time she had a thought that if Sanket is here so everyone must be here too)
“It’s just four of us, no one else is here” –said Sanket.
(Kay was quite in a uncomfortable state because Sanket lied but Kay kept his mouth shut. Kay told that he is the only one who saw the person who hit his head but the person was probably wearing a deer mask and hence he don’t know who is it. Sanket decided to pair up with Kay and go find the route outside, if any. He also told the girls to lock the door behind us so that they stay safe. They departed)
Why did you lie?” –said Kay.
(Sanket talked within himself while staring at the stairs in front of him)
“Two floors..no. It is probably the basement..” –said Sanket.
“Freaking..Answer my question!” –said Kay.
(Sanket got angry and turned back and told Kay straight in his face)
“ Because if I were to tell the truth then Janhavi would have lost it and hence I believed to keep it hidden would be the best way to keep the situation in control” –said Sanket.
(The pair moved down the stairs until Kay remembered something and stopped in the first staircase while Sanket moved down in the black)
“Then why didn’t you come to the meeting?” –said Kay.
“What are you talking about…?” –said Sanket.
“The place where I got ambushed..Wait a min..Who was that message from..It was from you!..” –said Kay.
(Kay was talking about the message which Janhavi received about Sanket will be in the library)
“Why would it have been from me?! When I didn’t even send it..” –said Sanket.
(Sanket while talking to Kay marched forward as he disappeared in the black and Kay was unable to see him and moved down the stairs and in the black where he was unable to see anything so he crawled in the ground)
“Sanket…? ..Wish I had a torch. Sanket!! This isn’t the time to be fooling around. Anyways, I have to keep going forward.” –said Kay.
(Someone came from the behind. having a torch in the hand and touched Kay from the back and flashed the torch in Kay’s eyes but he shouted and managed to push him away and hit his own leg on that person’s head)
“You..?!!” –said Kay.
In the room
“Isn’t there a rest room here..?” –said Janhavi.
“OPEN THE DOOR YOU TWO!!” –Kay and Sanket shouted together.
(The pair walked inside and Nilesh was walking behind them and the girls were surprised to see Nilesh and like everyone else even Nilesh didn’t know what’s going on with him and how did he end up being here. As Sanket massaged his head because Kay hit Sanket with his leg as Sanket was the only one who was holding the torch before and Kay misunderstood him with someone stranger. Sanket found Nilesh in the black. Janhavi again had a thought that if everyone is here then Neha must be somewhere near but …)
“Ring ..ring …ring! ..”
(A cell phone was ringing from the inside of the second door where Neha was hooked but the LED screen in front of the door showed ‘ LOCKED’ It was locked because they shut the door after they saw Neha in a such a position. Nilesh told Janhavi to open the door by scanning her barcode and hence she tried to open it and as the barcode was imprinted in a private part hence all the boys were told to look the other side but the door didn’t open and Pradhanya slapped Nilesh)
“Forcing a girl to open her clothes is against the law” –said Pradhanya.
“ -.-‘ sholly..” –said Nilesh.
(Everyone was worried about how to get to that cell and call for help and in the middle Pradhanya found her barcode hidden behind her ear)
“Maybe ..I can open the door..” – said Pradhanya.
(The door opened and Janhavi and everyone else saw Neha hooked up to the wall..dead. Kay found the cell phone under the broken parts of Neha’s wheel chair and as he took it out, Nilesh snatched it from Kay’s hand and the cell phone screen displayed ‘ ONE NEW MESSAGE’ , it was the ring for a new message and not a call, Nilesh opened the message and the screen displayed ‘ LION HUNT~ START!’
and Sanket found a barcode in Neha’s leg)
“Well..isn’t this interesting? It’s the game, it is the Lion Hunt where we have to find out the Lion among us.” – said Sanket.
(Kay and Nilesh got furious and Nilesh grabbed Sanket’s collar)
“The Fuck! ..are you talking about?! A game?! Get serious dammit! Something that isn’t a reason to kill a person” – said Nilesh.
(The girls stopped Nilesh and Sanket to avoid a fight between them)
“This isn’t the right time for this guys, get back to your senses” – said Janhavi.
“Yeah..Janhavi is right..we shouldn’t fight with our friends.” – said Pradhanya.
“Friends…? Even if Neha’s killer is present in this room.” – said Sanket.
(In the walls where Neha was hooked , it was imprinted with black paint ..)
“ Good luck Deers! May the deer live long and Lion has his share of supper tonight”
“ They are the catch phrase lines of the game, ..Just when it begins” – said Kay.
(As Kay read those phrases in the walls, a camera in the ceiling had a vision upon everyone)
End of the Scene
(In some other room, a man was sitting on a chair and seeing the monitors ,wearing the deer mask)
He chuckled..
