There’s power in the Name of Jesus

I have chosen to be a part of what God is doing right now. What is He doing you might ask?

Some of those who don’t know Him and His ways may say that God is asleep and allowing death and poverty to spread all around us. Many of these same people have turned their back on the only one who can break the chains of death and poverty. Their eyes are blinded by the great deceiver who is doing his best to destroy anything that is good.

Contrary to what the great deceiver is attempting to do, God is in the business of restoring people and healing what oppresses them. Everyday He is at work.

Believe it or not, God is working on your problem even as we speak. He is able and willing to move in each one of our personal circumstances if we will let him. God has given each and every one of us a free will to do as we please. Just like Adam and Eve in the garden, we have done what we want and now we are in trouble. WE cause our own demise.

And if we cause our own destruction, in-turn we can work are own restoration if we let God move in our situation. There’s an old song that says, “The Savior is waiting to enter your heart. Why don’t you let him come in? There is nothing in this world that keep you apart. What is your answer to Him? Time after time He has waited before and now He is waiting again. To see if you’re willing to open the door. Why don’t you let Him come in?”

It is your choice. He can break every chain. God can calm the storm. Jesus heals the broken. He wants to do it for you.

Today God’s people are on the move. There is a stirring in His Spirit like never before in our lifetime. The Word says that in the last days He will pour out His spirit on all flesh so that the whole world will know that God can break every chain. I am part of what God is doing today and I pray you will be, too.

He calls each believer to be instrumental in the healing of the nations. He has called us to free the oppressed and to set the captive free. God will use your talent for the betterment of His kingdom and to touch the whole world for Christ.

All of us start at the same place. We all need someone to save us and free us from ourselves, to set us free. As the song says, He’s waiting. The Scripture also says, Call on me and I will answer. Take the first step and confess that you are a sinner and that you need a savior. If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us from our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. No, he is not telling you that you are worthless but we all fall short of his goodness.

After we accept him we can’t keep it to ourselves. We must share it and be an integral part of reaching the world for Christ. Christians are to be the instruments of change in our world. You and I are to feed the hungry and speak words of freedom to those who are bound.

We have a tendency to wait to see who will do it or what will someone else do, but it’s our job to break every chain through the power of our resurrected Lord..

There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain, break every chain, break every chain. There is an army rising up and we are that army. Praise His name.
