If you want to move fast, you have to go alone. (This is risky and requires resources in exceptional measures and a very good luck to obtain the desired success.) If you want to go far in one or many directions, you have to have a team. Lots of things are to be accomplished and to do them all, you need others co-operation, even if you may have a clear road map to execute your plan. This is where inheritance plays the crucial role in all fields of activities.

I have no idea. In this context, I want to tell you something. I myself have realised innumerable things in my life. And they are profound and original. If someone else has the same realization, it does not imply that I have taken from them or have been their disciple. It is always a good thing when ideas match. Whatever I have achieved in my life are almost with my efforts. I did not inherit anything. One more thing: There is nothing really original in Srimad Bhagavad Gita. It is a compilation (a review paper) composed in the form of a song and the scene was dramatized. All the philosophies spoken therein, including the philosophy of Nishkama Karma (fruitless action) was already existing. Many things of Bible are in the Vedangas.
