He knew
What we would do
To his creation
That was meant to be an obligation
We would poison the strings of drops
That fell down from heaven to embellish the crops
We would put a question on our existence
By putting a resistance
On the growth of titan life lines
By looking under them for mines
To exploit them across our limits
Not to feel timid
In front of the universe
That was instead putting on us a curse
Our life getting shorter
Due to the drying up water

He knew
What we would do
Yet, we were born
And were supposed to adorn
The enchanting ambience
Which supported our existence

We lost our ways
And we don’t have many days
We need to put things back to place
Before things blur to haze
