i don't understand why the erotic write ups get so many points and always make it in the top posts. i mean , there are people writing on sensitive and motivational topics . people are writing about society's evils and many more topics of importance .
may be people look for porn everywhere ... in write ups too.
it is not that i am jealous of the no. of polls and points which erotic write ups get , but it is painful for those writers who want readers to become more focused and think about the country’s good.but when they see the unimportant writeups pop up with popularity...they stop writing ... thinking ,no one wants any change .
why only erotic write ups ??

it is a part of writing too. we shouldn't be harsh on this person as writerbabu was made so people could write whatever they like in all genre.

excess of everything is bad.
i really have no problems with it, but everyday i see 2-3 such write ups. i suggest the writer to try other genres too.

this is an idea that make sense. But whoa are we to suggest anyone... just because we are regular visitors here doesn't give us the right to give suggestions to anyone. : )

Agree with David here... sensitive topics do get noticed too and i feel that the less polls on these posts only suggest that readers who really understand - because a reader not necessarily understands every genre - reads and polls. And that's fair...
We should just go on writing...erotic, sensitive, provocative..anything! can't pull or push readers to read stuff they don't want to...!

I agree that writerbabu is an open plat form for everyone to write on the things of their own interest. Still, when its a social network there are certain unsopken, non-made rules yrt..?? these rules must be understood by all by default.. Whether the write ups are erotic, unimportant, silly does not matter.. but it should not be too much and should be in limit.. If one is so interested in writing erotic things he/she can do write privately.. and he/she should put that talent into some worth full things ryt..?? that would be really appreciable.. we all can scribble anything in our private dairies, but not as FB, Twitter, LinkedIn status.. Same applies here as well in Writerbabu. This is What I feel...

Its not only the erotic posts that get all the attention ... posts like this get the top most attention ... target some author, target the hummer, target the lovers, and now target the erotic writers, you get the polls and comments and top the chart ...
I am by no means saying that this post or any such post was written to get polls or something because that would be lame. But yes, by suppressing something you promote and provoke it ... so if you are just irritated ... just ignore it .... it will fade away ...
a more productive/creative/meaningful way would be to promote actively the posts which are meaningful in your views ... share them elsewhere ... take poll, give your constructive feedback in author poll, comment something relevant ... that you already do most of the times .... a not so productive/meaningful way would be to write a post like this( which target people) which invoke clashes of ideologies and eventually writers and someone say one thing other say one thing and at the end two people end up judging each other wrongly ( or rightly ) ... and who knows hummers are born this way only ... :P

Interesting discussion! Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion.write-up isn't person or gender specific.There are topicswhich ttransgress the boundary of civility. that should not be allowed to happen.ppl should gv comments/polls on what they like.you can read something and move on.if the post really interests you then take apoll/ ggive a comment to highlight it and bring it into the notice of other folks.personal comments should be reserved fr inbox of specific person.the whole world needn't know about it.
