So Me, my mumma and papa finally visited the CHGS Hospital after being ill for about a week, Viral, you know, and it won't get controlled with the regular intake of medicines as prescribed by practitioners.
And CGHS might perhaps help, my mother thought, "You go inside, and your illness vanishes by looking at the surroundings.", she added sarcastically. I then knew how much filthy that place might be, and I was right! My first visit, and I was horrified!
Located in the middle of dirt, and perhaps never cleaned since the building was constructed, looked like an ancient, tiny complex, its walls all black with the dust and dirt, and that soon became home-sweet-homes for those homeless little spiders, their cobwebs sticking here and there. As we enter, towards our right side, are two big tankies, and around that, white walls blackened with cobwebs and black spiders! And let me tell you, the complex is not at all as ancient as it looks like, most probably only 4-5 years old. The chairs, all dirty, the inauguration ceremony's red-curtains so filthy, and tattered, and dust covering the name of the hospital. The whole complex, perhaps is never swept, fallen dead leaves decaying around the concrete floor (imagine this, 'decaying' around the 'concrete' floor) yet I consider myself lucky since I went after the rain, it had swept away some dust with it, though making the steps more wacky, I agree.
And then the doctor.
Sitting in an awful posture, speaking rudely, "Haan ji bolo!"
I at that time thought, "Is it possible that he even passed his 12th class?"
I anyhow complained about my problems, he, nodding occasionally, not looking at me, not paying attention to what I was saying, yet in front of the old dirty computer, making the list of medicines before I even started telling about my problems!
Ridiculous! :D
Well that's how Indian Hospitals are, perhaps.
Hospitals are supposed to be clean, and the doctors, friendly to the patients, yet perhaps such things can happen only in India!
Yet people are proud of India!
