Writing a post after a long time. Posts are generally motivated by some ideas, although not all but while writing we encounter a lot of ideas for sure. This post is not going to be any different. The task of finding the idea inherited in this post is not mine.
I travel in a Taxi almost everyday. Yes taxi--- diesel---pollution but this is not the idea. It's is about Taxi drivers. A taxi driver in India or more specifically in Mumbai drives a taxi for more than 8 hours in case someone else owns the taxi or more than 16 hours in-case driver himself is the owner. Ownership has nothing to do with this post either. Carrying forward now.
Yesterday, while I was taking a taxi from my residence in Colaba to Churchgate, I was surprised that taxi-wala is ready to take me to Churchgate (It is because they usually prefer long distance bookings at the evening time). By the way this thought was just the conversation starter. Than he started telling me about the heavy rainfall and traffic problem in Andheri, with which I am already familiar for I was stuck their in the rain for 3 hours last year. And he was so eager to talk as if he didn't speak the whole day. Yes this is the thought. A passenger hires a taxi and tells a taxi-wala to go to some place. And during the whole journey they never speak twice. So what I was thinking is a person is not speaking a whole damn day and still performing his duties peacefully. We can justify this behavior by providing various theories in support and against. I am not a philosopher, so I will nor perform this task. It is up-to you. It was just a thought. And till now I can express my thoughts freely in India except for some exceptions. Please tell me it falls under no such exception :p
