Dear Diary,
Just four minutes to Thursday. Hopefully I'll turn out to be stronger in the next four minutes. The past two days created a havoc in my mind, and that compelled me to write down. I honestly wanted to study and distract myself, but as the second hand of the clock ticked away, I closed the books and put them aside and picked you up. All I want to say is- everything is transient.
As a child pushes itself out of its mother's womb, it is sucked by the gurgling whirlpool of the society. The child keeps spinning in that whirlpool until death. That whirlpool is present in solitude as well. But an offspring is always a product of the society, even if it takes birth in the backdrop of solitude. As it grows, it learns the different ways of co-existing in the society. It is the society that makes and takes life. Society has such an inexplicable influence over an individual that no other drug can have. When we say,'We don't care what the society says or does.' what we actually mean is that society has swallowed us and we want to break through its shackles, which is why we are going on and on with our futile protests. What we don't realise is what we want. We humans are blessed with this incredible brain that we at times tend to over use. We form society. Society forms us. We cannot change the society, we can only determine its nature. We feel society is changing because we are changing. But society is static, it never changes. It does not have a proper definition which is why all this confusion.
Diary, all my remorse, guilty, anger, frustration, confusion, sadness, solitude, happiness and emptiness is creeping and crawling and lingering about in these pages of this book. Though they are not expressed in the way I wanted. But the magnitude and intensity of these emotions continue to fill these pages. I can feel, but only pity for these pages who have to put up with the torture of my feelings through mere, mundane words.
WE CAN CHANGE IT ....but we must change ourselves first...
Society changes, sometimes faster than many people do, and it changes because many people changed, and brought the change...
But, it's not obvious always during one's life...Yet, compare the today's society with the one 2000 years before...1000 years before...5000 before ...
We also change...the problem is why, and how....
