As I don't have telly connection at home, I daily watch news on internet. But today, all I was left with is only tears. What are we seeing in news today?
Corruption, crime n the worst among them is RAPE.
A six year old girl being raped at the capital. Isn't it a shame to our motherland? Such cases are increasing day-by-day. And what really shuck me was, its the teachers, the staff members who have gang raped her! In India teachers are next to parents. We say, Maatra devobhava, Pitradevobhava and the next comes Aacharya devobhava. Next to parents, thy teachers. And teachers committing such things, isn't it a sin?
And Official statistics say about 25,000 rapes are committed every year in India, a nation of 1.2 billion people! This says, where are country is heading towards and what are we Indians doing.
And more of all:
She wasn't exposing, or
She wasn't walking in late dark nights or
She wasn't showing off
But still she was raped by her own Teachers! That means? Going to school or college is a mistake? Or being born a girl is a mistake?
Once in India, women were treated equal to Goddess but now, a sex or rape tool?
Here by, I join my hands to you & ask you all men,
Before teasing, molesting or bullying a girl, do think once even your mother, sister, girl-friend, female friends and your wife are also women.
Like you men, even we need some respect and we do have rights n freedom over our body.
Of course, every one needs to satisfy their needs. But this isn't the way. Here by, we women are even scarred to step out of the door.
While cutting your nails if the nail cutter just touches your skin, it pains & hurts a lot. Now imagine , how it feels for a girl to be raped and pool of blood flowing over her body. And equally its a matter of respect. Why are we becoming victims though there's isn't any fault of ours?
When will our country improve? When will sexual abuse or rapes decline? Is there any hope?
Its a matter of shame. Shame to you, shame to us.
Shame to our motherland. Shame to our Tri-color! :(
