A long distance relationship is a special type of
relationship, there’s no other relationship quite like
it. It’s funny how a lot of people never seem to
understand it and always look down upon it,
thinking that it’s not a ‘real’ relationship - what
people fail to realise is that in a LDR, the bond you
share with your significant other is incredibly
strong (it has to be strong for it to last). That bond
is special; it’s not like what you have in a physical
relationship when the person can be right beside
you. It’s rewarding in the sense that there are
moments in the relationship when you think about
just how close you and your significant other are
but at the same time, you can be so far apart, even
thousands of miles.
