Janette was amazed to finally look at the mirror.
She looked amazing, not at all possible to imagine
that she was in her early thirties, and not at all
possible to imagine this either that she had a
teenage daughter, in her early teens. She looked
like a young maiden, unmarried, wanted to get
married.. No! The last possibility didn't work for
her.
I tell you, if you are a man, you MUST NOT go to
ask her hand for marriage. For whether she takes a
liking at you or not, all she would reply is:

"NO! I am someone's wife."

"Mama you look Gorgeous!!" Her daughter said to
her, as she turned her head to see her, so
gorgeous, so teen-aged, so beautiful. It was
amazing to see her grow up all these years. How
years pass so quickly, how time changes to turn a
small foetus into Miss Gorgeous, and one day she
would fall in love, and would face adversities.
Would she let her fall in love?

Would she ever fall in love? Would she know the
truth of life, her own kid?
Is pain always necessary to bring about a change
in someone?

Those questions would make her worry so hard. She
had brought her up with great difficulty, and
protected her from every dangers throughout, but
what if she chooses a danger herself?

"I would never let you fall in love." She said,
finally.

"What's wrong with you mother?"

"You don't worry. You will never face the same
problem I went through." She smiled...

"So Miss, hope you like yourself more now and
have already have a boost up in your confidence

now that you have completely changed some of your
features." The surgeon smiled. Janette noticed how
dark and bold her lips had been painted.

"You're staring at my lips? Well yea.. They are
the result of a cosmetic surgery, I recently
underwent. Has changed my looks completely!!" She
went on.

Janette smiled. "Very cool." She said, in her
American accent; thinking though, "Looks like a
fail, as if someone just painted her lips with
weird cheap poster colours."

The daughter pinched her left arm, turning it
red.

"What's the matter dear?"

"Thinking something nasty, right? I know those
looks." She whispered in her ears, smiling.
