The previous generation had a clear purpose, a proper value system and the system as a whole. People were a society which was moving in a certain direction. All Soviet space was united by one idea (I'm not talking about political ideology).
We are criticized for parasitism, lack of purpose, spinelessness. We are called a wicked generation. After a complete collapse in the 90s, even the older generation was lost. All in their own skin to feel that the system no longer works. Immutable principles were defeated. We were born in the era of "emptiness" and as a small child we instinctively start the search of the meaning of our life. Our generation has gone from "the system" to the complete change of a "man." From this deep philosophical quest of loneliness while searching the soul and destructing ourselves a whole army of teenagers somehow appealed to my inner world in search of meaning rather than attracting desolation.
So do we call ourselves an aimless generation? No! We shouldn't!
because..
We were just thrown into the void and madness initially.
While you randomly strive to meet their needs, we were looking for something more substantial, valuable which indeed, was not found.
